Nebula Science Fiction #37

This December 1958 issue of the British science-fiction magazine *Nebula* (Issue #37) contains a novelette and five short stories. The lead novelette, "Lords of Creation" by Philip E. High, concerns something incredible happening to the universe that threatens human control. The issue opens with an editorial feature "Look Here" and includes the non-fiction piece "Next Call Alpha Centauri" by Kenneth Johns discussing Proxima Centauri and interstellar travel. The short stories are: "Pariah" by Robert Presslie (presented here), "The Truth" by E. R. James, "House Divided" by Robert Silverberg, "Infiltration" by Mark Patrick, and "Thy Rod and Thy Staff" by John Kippax. "Pariah" depicts a sabotage incident at the Longdene Atomic Research Establishment where an explosion occurs in the waste disposal unit, and investigators discover thirty-one people passed through the gates though only thirty workers evacuated, suggesting a saboteur remains on the grounds.
