North-West Romances, April 1943

This April 1943 issue of *Northwest Romances* contains a featured novel, two novelets, and three short stories set in northern wilderness settings. The lead story "Thunder of the Northland" by William R. Cox follows Lew Tolliver, a Texan come to Thundercloud in the Yukon after his partner dies in a snowland ambush. Seeking revenge, Tolliver must navigate the lawless frontier town while concealing his purpose from Morgan Carter's criminal organization. The issue also features "The Tundra Tamer" by Frederick L. Nebel and "Buckskin Loot for Lobo Men" by Kenneth Gilbert, along with three short stories: "Red Blade of Justice" by Chart Pitt, "Long-Knife Law" by A. deHerries Smith, and "Killers of Kodiak" by Jay Karth. All stories center on northern frontier action and survival.
