This volume of Munsey's Magazine (October 1926–January 1927) contains ten novelettes and serials, including George F. Worts' *Double Doubloons*, Charles K. Harris' *The Bum*, Harry Sinclair Drago's *Where the Loon Calls*, and Earl Wayland Bowman's *The Gamble-Horse of Dead Angel Mountain*. The collection features numerous short stories in varied genres: mysteries and crime (*Custard's Last Fight*, *Double Crisis*), domestic and romantic fiction (*His One Best Betty*, *The Bride's Biscuits*), adventure and adventure-fantasy (*Diversion in the Seventh Oasis*, *Out of the Fourth Dimension*), and character studies.
