This index covers Volume L of Munsey's Magazine, a general-interest periodical containing fiction, articles, and departments. The issue features four complete novels: *The Battle-Cry* by Carles Neville Buck, *Black is White* by George Barr McCutcheon, *The Hour of Conflict* by A. Hamilton-Gibbs, and *The Land of Broken Promises* by Dana Coolidge. The serial *The Light of Western Stars* runs across multiple sections. Short stories span various genres and authors, including mystery (*The Deliberate Detective*), domestic comedy (*Courting of Miss Parkina*), and adventure (*Out of the Real*).
