Voluntario para morir

This Spanish-language science fiction serial, "Voluntario para morir" (Volunteer to Die) by W. Sampas, follows Tony Cumming, a young agent of the Spacial International Police (SIP), who is selected for a dangerous undercover mission. Director Donald Callowan briefs Cumming on radioactive material thefts from uranium banks worldwide. A message intercepted from Mars requests a specialist with specific psychological and physical traits to infiltrate one of these facilities. The criminal's previous operative has fallen ill, suggesting extreme danger. Doctor Sullivan has chosen Cumming based on his exceptional natural resistance to gamma radiation. Before deployment to Mars, Cumming must pass a final test: opening a lead safe containing radioactive material while wearing an anti-radiation suit, to determine if his biological resilience can withstand direct gamma exposure.
