Catalog Description
"Para no morir nunca" by Lou Carrigan is a science fiction adventure novel serialized in this pulp magazine issue. The narrative centers on Professor Hans Stevenhafen and Professor Rudolf Schliemann, two German researchers near Leipzig who have developed a revolutionary rejuvenation formula derived from a rare African plant, Salutiferae Stevenhafen. Their newly hired assistant Uddo Kemphel grows resentful at being excluded from their plans. The professors prepare an expedition to Africa to harvest more plants, accompanied by Schliemann's young wife Sonja and the resourceful American adventurer Alan Morris, while Kemphel remains to manage the laboratory. On the eve of departure, two armed intruders attempt to steal the formula from the chalé. Alan Morris intercepts and kills them in a firefight, then discovers the thieves possess documentation linking them to external parties seeking the formula. The plot sets up a race to secure the life-extending compound before rival forces obtain it.
