This document is not a pulp magazine but rather a declassified United States Air Force UFO incident report (AF Form 112) dated May 1953, concerning unidentified flying object sightings near Goose Air Base, Labrador. The report documents two separate sightings on May 2, 1953. The first involved an F-94 fighter pilot (Captain R.L. Embery, 59th Fighter Squadron) who observed a luminous object at 28,693 feet that displayed "definite maneuverability," attempted evasive action, and prevented radar contact. The second sighting involved the pilot and co-pilot of a Maritime Central Airways commercial aircraft reporting two "moon-shaped" luminous objects approximately 500 feet off their starboard wing, 130 miles southwest of Goose Air Base. Both incidents occurred under clear visibility conditions. Official evaluations classified both sightings as unidentified objects due to excessive speed, darkness preventing identification, and lack of corroborating radar contact. Intelligence officers submitted detailed witness statements from military and civilian personnel.
