This document is not a pulp magazine but a collection of U.S. Air Force intelligence reports from July 1953 concerning an unidentified aerial phenomenon. The primary report details a ground visual sighting near Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, on July 2, 1953. Observers reported three circular objects of unknown size—one large, two smaller—observed between approximately 0200 and 0400 hours EST. The larger object displayed intense light and hovering motion with slight bobbing; a light streak resembling a vapor trail appeared separately with the two smaller objects. All objects were white and silent. The large object ascended from tree-top height to approximately 45 degrees elevation in less than 50 seconds. Observers stated the objects were not astronomical. No physical evidence was recovered, and no aircraft were operating in the vicinity during observation.
