Museum Catalog Description This document is a U.S. Air Force UFO report form (ATIC Form 329, revised September 1952) recording a sighting observation. The record contains a structured investigation card with fields for date, location, observation type, duration, number of objects, and course data. The primary sighting report, forwarded from field unit YTLP 87/3342 to the Director of Intelligence at USAF Headquarters, documents a large pink illumination observed at a specified bearing covering a quarter hemisphere. The phenomenon moved on a northeast course at 16 knots, disappeared at a recorded time, then briefly reappeared while bearing 314 degrees. The observer noted the appearance resembled ionized gas.
