This is not a pulp magazine but a collection of U.S. Air Force intelligence documents from November 1957 regarding an unidentified flying object sighting over Japan. On November 10, 1957, observers including Lt. Col. Marshall E. Bailey and Naval Intelligence officer Jackson reported a bright object west-southwest of Tokyo. Witnesses described a flame, flare, or bright white or orange-red light with either a single tail or three streamer-like tails in blue, yellow, and orange. The object traveled in a slight arc parallel to the earth and faded away over approximately 10-45 seconds, reportedly accompanied by a "sizzling" sound. The Tokyo Astronomical Observatory and Air Force analysts concluded the sighting was probably a meteor, though definitive identification could not be made. Official evaluations questioned the meteor hypothesis given the extended observation duration.
