Catalog Note: 2-Gun Western, Vol. 2, No. 5 (November 1955) This pulp anthology contains fifteen western stories, combining contemporary action tales with reprinted classics. The new fiction includes "The Wild Time" by John Lumsden, featuring eighteen-year-old Dick Foster, a troubled youth with multiple guns who increasingly falls under the influence of the rough Noren boys; the story explores tensions between Foster's restless nature and his respectable mother. "Noon Tomorrow" by Philip Morgan depicts Mojave Jack, a hired killer forced into conflict with a small-town marshal.
