Selección Terror: Más horrible cada vez
Museum Catalog Note *Más horrible cada vez* (More Horrible Each Time), by Ada Coretti, is a Spanish-language horror serial presented in two chapters. The narrative follows a deranged killer escaped from an asylum who commits a series of murders in and around the town of Allen Rood. The first victim, poet Charlton Mennedy, is lured to a prepared grave in the forest, poisoned with gas from a plastic bag, placed in a coffin while paralyzed, and buried alive. A second victim, Richard Dalen, is kidnapped, stripped, and restrained in the woods where the killer—claiming to be a surgeon—performs a grotesque vivisection, replacing Dalen's heart with a cat's severed head before his death. The narrative then shifts to introduce Bob Boone, a wealthy, successful detective in his twenties who receives a mysterious summons from Dr. Wanddors, director of a local asylum, and drives toward a rendezvous at a roadside inn called La Perla, his car breaking down near a suspicious house along the way.
