Asamblea mortal
This Spanish-language pulp magazine contains two spy-thriller serials. "Archivo Secreto: Brigitte en Acción" (Secret File: Brigitte in Action) features the protagonist Brigitte Montfort, a CIA agent and journalist known as "Baby," described as "the most dangerous spy in the world." The story opens with Brigitte and her associate Frank Minello discussing a previous adventure involving a "Detector of Evil" device. CIA chief Charles Alan Pitzer arrives to brief Brigitte on a new crisis: a criminal operative called "Naif" who murders secret agents worldwide, then sells the stolen intelligence to various intelligence services. To combat this threat, British MI6 advisor Lord Mathew Kingstone has proposed an unprecedented international alliance—summoning the finest agents from multiple nations to his English castle to hear his plan for capturing Naif. The CIA has nominated Brigitte. The serial includes a roster of attending agents from France (Roger Claudel), Britain (Seymour Douglas), and Egypt (Abbas Maher), among others. The magazine also advertises "Asamblea mortal" (Deadly Assembly) by Lou Carrigan.
