Doc Savage: El ogro del mar de los Sargazos
Catalog Note "The Sargasso Ogre" by Kenneth Robeson (pseudonym of Lester Dent), translated into Spanish, is a Doc Savage adventure novel. The narrative opens in Alexandria, Egypt, where the criminal mastermind Pasha Bey—a gaunt, weapon-laden assassin heading a murder syndicate—is hired to kill an engineer named Long Tom Roberts for four thousand piastras. Roberts receives a deceptive letter claiming to be from inventor Leland Smith, inviting him to examine an insect-killing apparatus. Unaware that Roberts is one of Doc Savage's five trusted assistants, Pasha Bey lures him away from his hotel. Doc Savage himself appears in Alexandria, recently arrived via the mysterious dirigible Aeromunde, which he recovered from criminals using it for slave trafficking near a desert oasis containing a diamond mine. Roberts leaves a note for Doc before departing with Pasha Bey, triggering the adventure that leads to the "Sargasso Sea" mystery.
