GOLD SEAL DETECTIVE, January 1935 This detective pulp magazine contains five novelettes and three short stories featuring law enforcement protagonists confronting murderers and criminals. The lead novelette, "Rough-'Em-Up Radigan" by Clark Aiken, follows Police Chief Radigan as he pursues a murder quartet responsible for killing an explosives plant watchman. The criminals kidnap research director Arthur Dexter while his assistant and colleagues are ambushed. Clark's "Nightstick Nemesis" (novelette) by Frederick C. Painton depicts Patrolman Barney Dall, dubbed the "Killing Cop," navigating accusations of excessive force while becoming trapped in a suicide trap. Additional stories include David M. Norman's "The Death Parole," featuring officer Dan hunting his suspect; Lom Roan's "G-Man Justice" novelette, where federal agents witness a colleague's murder; Paul Chadwick's "Murder Debt" involving T-men pursuing the elusive "Ghost"; and tales by Norman A.
