The Alchemist (Final Issue) This final issue of *The Alchemist*, a Denver-based science fiction fanzine, contains the conclusion of A. Merritt's "Rhythm of the Spheres" serial. Featured articles include Robert W. Lowndes's "Notes On Devil Worship," an extended analysis of the Black Mass as depicted in Joris Karl Huysmans's *Là-Bas*, and Carl H. Claudy's autobiographical essay discussing his publications in *American Boy* magazine.
