This anthology issue features two main stories set in Africa. "Thun'da: The Man from the Sky" follows an explorer confronting a mysterious creature in the hidden Dawn World of Africa, where Thun'da discovers evidence of a prehistoric civilization and encounters the hostile S'kubulu tribe led by the chief Kubulu, who seeks to melt down iron and eliminate any modern man who enters their domain. A parallel narrative introduces Cave Girl and other characters caught in the escalating conflict as government forces approach upriver, setting the stage for confrontation between the ancient S'kubulu warriors and modern civilization.
