Real Adventure Comics is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "High Escape" follows an adventurer who steals twin rubies from a native village's temple and flees over a sacred mountain called Stroop, which the natives believe is forbidden by their gods; he successfully escapes their pursuit by climbing higher than they dare follow. A second story titled "The Command" depicts a ship caught in a sudden storm that sinks, with only five men managing to escape in a lifeboat; the captain watches helplessly as his vessel becomes a "rotting hulk" before the crew must decide to abandon their effort to save her.
