Adventures in Wonderland #5

This special Christmas issue features Santa discovering that all toy production has stopped except in the candy department, prompting him to call a board meeting to solve the crisis. After various failed suggestions, Santa uses melted candy—peppermint canes, black licorice, and lemon lollipops—to create the necessary paint colors for toys, and his generosity inspires others throughout the town to contribute toys, food, and funds to those in need. The issue also includes "The Troubadour," a tale of a medieval musician named Laurence whose beautiful lute playing gains him fame, only to have a Lord Chancellor seek him out requesting aid, asking the poor troubadour to help him.
