This anthology issue contains at least three distinct stories. The first follows Jerry White as he investigates the mysterious reappearance of an old man named Mr. Dillon, who claims to have been cared for by a caretaker named Fred and possesses centuries-old clothing, suggesting a supernatural connection to the past. "Diary of Doom" features Dr. George Fielding's account of his transformation into a murderer and werewolf after encountering a strange, greedy manner in a shadowy place, with authorities unable to locate him based on the diary alone. "True Ghosts in History: The King of Sweden and the Little Grey Man" recounts the legend of King Charles XII of Sweden seeking out a spectral figure in grey to learn the fate of his defeated armies, culminating in a supernatural encounter in the Finnish woods where the ghostly visitor's icy touch seals the king's doom.
