Adventures into the Unknown #6 This anthology issue contains at least two distinct stories. "The Devil's Disciple" tells of a man born in Madrid in 1542 who has lived for 400 years, cursed to walk the earth in eternal torment as punishment for his sins, visited by the ghost of Father Ramón who condemns him to know neither rest nor peace. Another story features Professor Kendall and Dr. Warren developing a robot controlled by a serum injection, which goes haywire when a new serum formula causes it to become dangerous and half-human, leading to a climactic confrontation where the creature is destroyed by police. The issue also includes "The Devil's Disciple," in which a character reflects on a mysterious diary belonging to Hester Prince, a great-great-great-aunt who feared some unseen evil.
