This issue contains two main stories. "Lighthouse Reef" follows a man stranded alone in the Pacific after his plane crashes, who drifts on an emergency raft for days battling sunstroke and dehydration while hoping for rescue, eventually sealing a message in a bottle before losing consciousness. The second story involves Cap'n André Duprez, a pirate buccaneer, who arrives at a lighthouse seeking shelter after his ship is damaged in a storm; a lighthouse keeper discovers strange equipment in the tower and becomes suspicious of the pirate's true intentions regarding the mysterious devices.
