Adventures into the Unknown #87 This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "The Disguise" depicts a masquerade ball that conceals a real spaceman's arrival, with subsequent events involving a spaceship and an invasion fleet from Koralion bent on conquering Earth; the protagonist's efforts to broadcast a warning about the Modalions' plans result in the alien invasion fleet being destroyed before it can attack. A second story features a time-traveling protagonist who falls through a tunnel wheel and finds himself in a futuristic city where a centralized government controls all aspects of citizens' lives through punch-card systems and forced population control measures, including the liquidation of citizens deemed surplus to maintain demographic balance.
