This anthology issue contains at least three stories: "The Heap," in which a creature originating from a German flying ace's crash during World War I is discovered by a boy named Rickie Wood, develops an attraction to him, and becomes known as the Heap; "Man Wanted," featuring Jerry Conner, whose father borrows money from a trapper to buy supplies for a caribou hunt, then goes missing—leaving Jerry to search for him during a harsh winter storm in the Canadian north; and "Sky Wolf," which follows Sky Wolf and his pal Cocky Roche as adventurers at Bandor Airport in India, where they observe a wealthy maharajah being presented with diamonds.
