Airboy Comics v5 #4 Airboy and his associate Birdie face off against the villain Tungchan, who has stolen a radio control device for Birdie's plane. After a struggle aboard a ship where Tungchan attempts to destroy Birdie with a hatchet, Airboy regains control of his aircraft and the two escape, though Tungchan vows revenge. In a secondary story, "The Man Who Turned the Tide," an Austrian electrical engineer named Alexander Szek, whose mother was English and whose father sided with Germany during World War I, becomes caught between the warring nations and is recruited by German General von Stoegger.
