Alaska Bush-Pilot #1

A bush pilot named Holden encounters a runaway taxi-cab piloted by Slip Summers while attempting to land near whales in Alaska. When Holden's seaplane collides with the taxi-cab during an emergency maneuver, both aircraft end up in the water, marking what is described as the only known collision between a seaplane and a taxi-cab. Slip subsequently takes Holden on whale-watching flights, during which a massive whale nearly strikes the aircraft, leading to tense negotiations between the two pilots about their contract terms and physical contact.
