"The City of Light" by Henry Sharp depicts a space patrol discovering an impossibly advanced civilization made entirely of pure white light on an alien planetoid. "The Man Who Killed a World" by Paul Parker involves an instructor conducting students to a Z-bomb site on Mars, revealing a weapon capable of destroying the planet while Mars possesses similar destructive capability pointed at Earth, creating a dangerous stalemate.
