Approved Comics #5

This is an anthology issue featuring two stories about flying cadets. In "The Big Buzz," Air Cadet Larry Jett encounters three dangerous criminals who have stolen an airplane for an unauthorized joyride, causing chaos and discipline problems at the flying school until the situation is brought under control. "The Killer Instinct" follows Johnny Van Dyke, a Marine Air Force pilot, who must confront his moral conflict about killing in combat when he discovers his troubled feelings about taking enemy lives during air warfare missions.
