Astounding Stories #2

This anthology issue contains two science fiction stories. The first story follows a man who awakens on an alien planet and dreams he is with a woman named Prentiss, learning that the dream recurs and may be real, culminating in doubt about whether his experience is genuine or imagination. The second story, "A Nice Place to Visit," features Richard Trumek, the sole survivor of an Earth cruiser destroyed in battle, who finds himself a prisoner of the Luthanians and discovers their planet as a potential base for Earth, while learning about their civilization and atmosphere composition.
