Atom the Cat #14

Atom the Cat features two stories: In the first, Atom must rescue a man and woman from a dangerous windstorm that destroys their house. In the second story, a scheming character disguises himself as a guard to infiltrate the Board of Counters and stuff ballot boxes with fraudulent votes for "Dr. Mole," rigging an election for Metropolis City, though the plot is discovered when the ballots are counted and Dr. Mole wins by a suspicious landslide. Additionally, the issue includes "I Was Mary's Little Lamb," a prose story about a lamb born on a New England farm who is given to a girl named Mary and becomes her beloved pet, eventually accompanying her to school.
