Badge of Justice #4

A police officer named Homer warns a troubled young man named Richie about running around with a dizzy blonde and borrowing money for a car, offering to straighten him out, but Richie resists and pushes back against the officer's attempts at guidance. Later, after encountering the officer again, Richie finds himself in prison where he meets Bob Griffin, a fellow inmate described as a good guy, and learns the warden is offering him a two-week vacation in his favor—though Bob warns him not to let the experience soften him up. The story culminates in a prison yard scene where Richie begins to establish himself among the other inmates through sports and camaraderie.
