Bang-Up Comics #1

Bang-Up Comics #1 is an anthology featuring multiple adventure stories. "Cosmo Mann's Sun-Ray Gun Defends America" follows the hero as he uses his sun-ray weapon to combat enemy forces threatening the nation. "Jeff Barter, Trader" presents a jungle adventure in which trader Jeff Barter and his assistant Ted Collins encounter a crocodile while traveling the Impure River to trade with the Makuba tribe. A third story involves a military officer receiving secret orders to command forces against a dictatorial invader, with a smaller character named Buzz Balmer featured as well, while another tale depicts military personnel tracking an unmarked steel-gray enemy plane and discovering it belongs to King Paul's forces, leading to a confrontation with a general who has conspired with an invader.
