Barnyard Comics #17

This is an anthology issue featuring at least two stories. In the first story, a rabbit character receives a surprise gift of money from "Bunnyboy," but confusion ensues when a note accompanies it—the rabbit denies writing the note, suspecting someone else is trying to frame him, and he flees his house in fear. In "Oddie Colonie" by Ed Dunn, two skunks move into a new neighborhood and attempt to befriend the local animals by challenging them to a marble game, but their efforts at socialization are repeatedly rebuffed as various woodland creatures—including a billy-goat, moose, and eventually a bear—reject their company, each animal offering excuses for why they cannot associate with the skunks.
