Battle Cry #10

A Marine Sergeant named Clark leads his recruits with harsh discipline, driving them through training to prepare them for combat. When the young Marines express surprise at Clark's brutal methods, they discover he is actually tougher on them than Hitler himself, determined to forge them into fighting soldiers. The story follows Clark and his men through a Korean deployment, where they face enemy combat and must cross the Rhine under fire. In a lighter segment titled "Pvt. Ike in Ya Gotta Have Faith," a soldier named Ike credits his lucky Spanish American charm with keeping him alive in battle, attributing his survival not to superior equipment but to faith and superstition.
