Battle Report #3 This anthology issue contains at least two war stories. "Blood Buddies" follows mortarmen Steve and Jim, who teach the enemy respect for their stove pipe gunners, as they navigate combat and encounter a character named Kim who claims to know the location of a place called Devil's Pass. In a second story, two prisoners named Tijo attempt an escape by digging, but after being discovered by a commander, they resort to a desperate plan involving cigarettes to gain the trust of the compound guards, only to find their escape route ultimately blocked.
