This is an anthology issue featuring multiple war stories. "Take the Objective" follows Battlewise Marines in combat, with hot words leading to hot action as soldiers charge into fight. "Kangaroo Court" depicts soldiers Monty, Tex, and Canarsie at a POW camp where they attempt a mass escape; Tex is captured and threatened with death by a captor named Yi Ling unless demands are met by dawn. "Marine Saves White Horse Hill" shows Marines defending against a Japanese attack, with soldiers discovering a wooden horse that the enemy plans to use to infiltrate their position, prompting them to devise a counter-strategy.
