Battlefield Action #20

"Bastogne" depicts American soldiers during the Christmas 1944 German offensive in Belgium, where PFC John Maddern and his inexperienced platoon find themselves in jungle-like terrain struggling with fear and combat inexperience. As the men attempt to hold their position against enemy forces, they fight off Japanese attackers in the darkness, with Maddern trying to overcome his psychological terror of the jungle blackness to effectively command his soldiers and return fire on the advancing enemy.
