Battlefield Action A soldier is mistakenly delivered to a combat area in Germany during World War II and left behind when his unit moves out. As he hides in the woods near enemy tank movements, he discovers that an old man wearing white civilian clothes—who turns out to be alive despite appearing dead—is actually the commanding officer he knew from the Italian campaign at Castle Forte in 1944. The soldier must help his former superior escape while German forces close in on their position, culminating in a grenade attack and machine-gun fire as they attempt to evade capture.
