Behold the Handmaid #1

A religious comic narrating the life of the Virgin Mary, beginning with the Angel Gabriel's annunciation to Mary that she will bear a son to be called Jesus. The story follows Mary's journey to the Temple in Jerusalem for the presentation of the infant Jesus, where the righteous man Simeon recognizes the child as the promised Savior. The narrative culminates at the Wedding at Cana, where Mary asks Jesus to help when the hosts run out of wine, and Jesus performs his first miracle by transforming water into wine.
