Ben Bowie and His Mountain Men #8

Ben Bowie and his mountain men have been traveling west for weeks when they encounter sea captains and Native Americans who claim the Pacific Ocean lies ahead. After a wrestling match with a native named Nakah results in Ben's victory, the group discovers a body of salt water and realizes they have reached the ocean. Ben and his men are taken aboard a whaling ship, where they participate in a whale hunt and witness the harpooning of a whale by the ship's chief.
