Big Shot Comics #12

An anthology featuring multiple stories, including one in which spy chief Jeff Cardiff uses a flashlight and morse code signals to direct a submarine crew to safety after they become stranded, resulting in the new submarine being readied for duty against enemies of America. Another story follows a costumed hero who confronts a villain with a red star symbol, leading to a chase involving Miss Parrish that culminates in dramatic action on and around ships at sea, with the hero pursuing the villain after Miss Parrish goes overboard. A third story depicts whalers pursuing a massive whale using traditional harpoon methods, with the creature dragging their rowboat before heading toward an uncharted island.
