Big Shot Comics #2 is an anthology featuring multiple adventure strips. "The Face" involves a criminal mastermind whose identity is being pursued by Tony Trent, a radio commentator, after the villain attempts to corner the gold market and flood the government's credit. Marvelo, a mystical character, encounters a small boy in need of medical help and brings him to Doctor Hayles' sanatorium. Jibby Jones follows a young girl's misadventures as she attempts to earn a nickel, leading her through various schemes involving friends and siblings, including swimming and encounters near a pond.
