"The Locust Valley Gold Strike" follows Bill Boyd as he investigates a gang of outlaws who have cornered him and his companion in a hand truck beneath a mine. After escaping the mine with help from his horse, Boyd pursues the criminals to Regen's Ranch, where he discovers they are gold mine swindlers who have stolen money from investors. Boyd must stop the gang before they divide the stolen loot and escape with their ill-gotten gains.
