Billy the Kid #11

Billy the Kid encounters a gang of outlaws led by Don Ricardo who possess poisoned gold they claim will kill anyone who touches it; Billy discovers the poison claim is a trick to scare people away from the treasure and defeats the gang. The issue also contains two additional stories: "Jack Slade of the Overland," detailing how outlaw Jack Slade killed a man in a dispute and was later executed after shooting off another man's ears, and "The Hidden Brand," in which Sheriff Eric Olsen must find proof against outlaw Jake Hanley for the murder of Tim Watson without relying on circumstantial evidence about branded cattle.
