This issue contains two stories. The main feature, "El Hombre's Army," follows Billy the Kid as he confronts a dangerous outlaw army and navigates complex alliances in the Old West. The backup story, "Hamilton Heads Here," is a text piece recounting Bill Hamilton's first-person account of his 1842 expedition from Scotland to the American frontier, where he traveled with experienced trappers and traders to seek his fortune in the wilderness.
