Billy the Kid #60

Billy the Kid faces off against a man-hunter named Bonney in a contest of marksmanship, with Bonney claiming he will win and take Billy. After Billy outwits him in their gunfight, Bonney is arrested by a lawman named Andy, who offers Billy a deal: if Billy agrees to press assault charges against Bonney instead of murder charges, the law will give Bonney a fair trial and reform him rather than execute him. Billy accepts the bargain, and with the reward money he receives, he begins to change into the kind of man he wants to be, eventually working with a man named Leroy in a gambling palace.
