Billy the Kid Adventure Magazine #19

In "Death Travels Northward," Billy the Kid tracks a criminal named Doc Cockrell into Yellowstone Country after Cockrell plants dynamite on a stagecoach and kills a passenger. Billy discovers Cockrell's scheme and confronts him, resulting in a shootout where Billy is wounded but manages to overcome Cockrell. After Billy interrogates the dying outlaw, he learns that Cockrell and his gang had planned to rob an express office by detonating dynamite near the road and ambushing the stage, but their plot is ultimately foiled through Billy's intervention.
