Billy the Kid Adventure Magazine #20

Billy the Kid confronts criminals who have hidden stolen gold by melting it down and painting over it in picture frames, then locking Billy in a railroad car after shooting him. Billy escapes and, working with the local sheriff, pursues the gang across town. In a separate storyline, Billy attempts to prevent a conflict between settlers and Native Americans led by Yellow Coyote, but when Yellow Coyote's tribe attacks a fort, Billy and soldiers prepare for battle.
