Billy the Kid Adventure Magazine #28

The issue contains two main stories. "Braveheart" tells of a young Native American warrior chosen to teach the Cheyenne tribe how to hunt, who is spotted by Mandan scouts and pursued by enemies including the rival Yellow Legs. In the second story, Billy the Kid faces down a group of men led by someone named Wallner who plan to capture him; when Billy offers to drop his guns if given his word they'll let him go unharmed, Wallner agrees, but then betrays the agreement and attempts to gun Billy down anyway, leading to a final confrontation.
