Black Diamond Western #33

Black Diamond faces off against the Grey Panther and his bandit gang, who have captured settlers and demand that Black Diamond surrender his horse in exchange for their release. When Black Diamond's trick fails to work as planned, the bandits set off explosives and flee with their prisoners toward Silver Valley. Black Diamond pursues them, and after a fierce battle involving exploding wagons, the bandits are routed and the surviving settlers escape to the hills. In the aftermath, Diamond and his team discover that the mule-pack the bandits were transporting contained gold, and they use a whistle signal and river crossing to recover the stolen cargo before the outlaws can escape with it.
